The level sensors for AHL/AFL Xenon cannot be calibrated
Saab 9-3 Model year 2003-2012 with AHL Xenon or AFL Xenon
AHL Xenon = Automatic Headlamp Levelling
AFL Xenon = Adaptive Forward Lighting. Also called Advanced Forward Lighting or Bending light.
A new AHL/AFL control unit does not set fault codes until it is added and calibrated. If the level sensors cannot be calibrated, will TECH 2 display a fault message, example for AFL:

The reason for this is usually a faulty front or rear level sensor, or a fault in the wiring.
Check this:
1. Front and rear level sensors. They shall be OK and correctly mounted.
